LEVELS OF ASSOCIATION
Opportunities at Institute of Telemedicine include external collaborations and national / international research consortia, associate membership activities, volunteering, sabbaticals, studies and study stays, internships, and several types of employment contracts including an optional tenure plan. PhD curricula and advanced degree courses are occasionally organized jointly with accredited educational institutions.
ON-SITE & TELE-WORK
We consistently stand to our name and the "tele-" mission ideas: Apart from classical job arrangements, also settings with work from home, tele-work, or distance team networking are among our traditionally supported modes of operation - especially for talented / mature / well-focused / self-motivated junior and senior individuals and for experienced group leaders. We believe that the ability to collaborate with others from far and/or to contribute the individual's work to a bigger remote project is a very strong and unique social skill not bestowed upon everyone and worth of specific support.
PREFERRED & OFFERED TRACKS
Education & training, research, product development, engineering, medicine, biotechnology, librarianship, knowledge management, intellectual property, research management, business administration.
PREREQUISITES & EXPECTATIONS
Typical candidates demonstrate strong and productive work history and noteworthy former achievements in one or more of the above tracks. Juniors demonstrate their talent, quality of education, and success in scholarly competitions or internships in fields related to the above tracks. We are a small non-profit organization and employees are expected to cover their projects in full by acquiring extramural grants, sponsorship, and other appropriate resources at all times.
