The Institute of Telemedicine is a professional association of advanced technology experts, futuristic medicine designers, and strategic science supporters.  The ITM operates as a specialized branch under the umbrella of a national non-profit scientific organization - SHS .  Our cross-disciplinary academic R&D unit is focused on structure, function, disorders and therapy of living systems, including humans.  In relation to these objectives, our predominant interests include research in biological / medical / technical / computational and other disciplines, new technology development, prototyping, biomonitoring, imaging and image analysis, sensors, telemetry, remote control, non-invasive diagnostics, distance counseling, mobile applications, collaborative systems, unattended operation, knowledge management, bioinformatics, databases, modelling, virtualization, robotics, and biomedical automation in general.
